Why is dentistry so expensive?

Brampton Dentists, Top Dentists in Brampton, Dental Care, Dental Info, Dental Facts,Dentistry is only expensive to those who do not see the importance of the dental treatment they are receiving.

We spend thousands of dollars on our cars in service, maintenance, appearance, rust proofing, cleaning and repairs and most of the time we get it done without question. We all know that without all these things our car will get old faster, it’s ability to perform will reduce and it’s appearance will become less than pleasing, causing greater expenses or replacement with a newer model.

Our mouth is the gateway to our body and unlike a car, our body is irreplaceable. Just as a car does not work well without a good engine neither does our body without teeth. Just as a car engine needs to go in for maintenance and service every 3 to 6 months so do our teeth.

With all the advances in dentistry tooth decay is still one of the top most common chronic diseases. Most that do not visit the dentist regularly have some sort of gum disease or tooth decay that they are not even aware of, which in turn causes more problems to the rest of the body. Research shows there may be a link between oral disease and other health problems such as diabetes, heart disease and stroke, as well as pre-term and low-birth-weight babies.

For information on dentistry, the importance of, the effect on the rest of the body, procedures and services be sure to visit the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, the American Dental Association or our blog page for all you need to know about the connection between your mouth and your body and the importance of dental care.

Before you spend all that money on the car, remember, “You need your body to drive it!”

Dentistry is only expensive to those who do not see the importance in it!
